Will you choose, today, to rescue a child from poverty, malnutrition, illiteracy, and hopelessness. Have you wondered if the money you are donating ever makes it to the people. HOPE promises that when you:

Make the choice, today, to donate to The HOPE Initiative, a 501 (3) (c) an all-volunteer, charitable organization that gives EVERY penny it collects to the poor and uneducated of Nepal.

$10 buys internet service for a month, in one of our computer centers. Help keep families torn apart by poverty connected and bring a world of knowledge to youth in small mountain villages
$35 buys lab equipment for rural schools
$36 buys a goat or lamb that can be used for milk, cheese, or clothing
$50 pays the one-month electricity bill of our learning and caring centers
$75 pays the salary of a full time educational tutor to provide free group tuition to poor children, who, unless they pass their exams, are shunted into lives of back-breaking labor
$100 provides a week-long meal of meat, rice, oil, and spices for 15 families during the holiday season
A generous gift of $3000 opens a new Community Learning and Health Center and that benefactor is recognized as a Founder, her picture is placed in the center, a certificate is issued and that person is recognized in a special ceremony by the community and by the HOPE Initiative.

You can donate $5.00 or $50.00. In Nepal, a dollar makes a difference. Every gift touches the heart and soul, the stomach and toes of a desperately poor child. Your gift is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Your support and involvement can make a world of difference. Just a few dollars or a few hours a month can turn around the life of a child. There are a number of ways you can invest in HOPE. Consider donating or become a VOLUNTEER:

Your gift may be designated for a specific project, or you may leave it unrestricted to allow HOPE the greatest flexibility to respond to urgent needs. If you are donating on behalf of someone else, please provide name and contact information so we can notify them of your generous gift. All gifts are tax deductible and acknowledged with a follow-up letter suitable for record keeping. You can donate:

Monthly Giving
For a deeper investment in a child's life, consider sponsoring a young scholar or an orphan through our CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM. For as little as $10 a month, you can take an impoverished child out of the fields and into school and keep them there. For just $35 a month, you can give a new life to a child orphaned by violent conflict.
